Food is my thing. I love it. I love it simple and uncomplicated to make. I appreciate complicated, gourmet cooking but I do not like to cook that way. My preference is to not have to have more than four ingredients to throw together to create something to eat. Quick. Simple. Basta! That is my mantra.
Tonight is bacon night. It is cooked, in the oven, all two pounds of thick strip applewood bacon. Perfect with avocado, or on a BLT, or crumpled on a salad. It is even fabulous to eat a piece without anything else to distract from the deliciousness of bacon.
Now it is cooked. It is in the refrigerator ready to use in in a variety of sumptuous meals.
