As I searched for a topic to focus upon for today’s writing challenge I came across a blurb on the passing of Steely Dan’s Walter Becker. That led me to a reported statement by Donald Fagen regarding Becker’s passing.
Steely Dan is one of the groups I grew up listening to. I really like their laid back, jazzy sound. Always have. Their music makes me want to kick back with a set of on-ear-headphones and hang out by the pool, in the sunshine, in the moonlight, in the mountains by a stream, and simply chill.
Sit back. Relax. Enjoy. And drink in their vision of sound.
