In the last eleven years I have gone through two washers. I am so over these new fangled, high efficiency things. My first washer, the one I bought in 1991 lasted me ten years, and that was double washing everything (I had 2 dogs). The matching dryer only ever had a belt replaced and it was still going after 15 years.
The washer I have now locks. It is supposed to readjust itself when it goes unbalanced. It is impossible to stop it, open it, and manually readjust it without cancelling the entire cycle.
Yeah. Not an improvement.
So the last thing I washed in it, a thermal cotton blanket that only took up half of the tub, completely threw it out of whack so badly that I may have to go buy a new washer tomorrow.
Yeah. Not a happy girl and yes, I am rolling my eyes.
The Honey-do will see what he can do to fix it tomorrow and that is something to be appreciated. The Honey-do is a great handyman.
Yeah. He always finds a way to make me happy.
