Reading the news is not social media. Posting my thoughts and reactions on my blog is more like journalism.
When I read this article the other day on the Blaze I about tipped over backwards from rolling my eyes:
Yeah. Right. So now, after the election there is an alleged attempt to possibly have another feigned effort/promise to be finally kept by the GOP to do what the people have wanted done on Day 1 of the Trump Presidency? Now there is a bravado on the tail end of the small and #NotPermanentTaxCuts, #FullRepealEpicFail and the #Cromnibus?
Rachel Bovard discusses some of my thoughts in her article Building the Wall After All?:
“For the last two years, House Republicans have been frustrated as their leadership remains content to allow the Senate to call the shots, unwilling to engage openly in favor of their own priorities. (Or, for that matter, their own bills. Nearly 600 House bills are languishing in the Senate, waiting for action.)”
And this bill touted by Kevin McCarthy, who might be out to kill the Jim Jordan nomination for Speaker of the House as the Paul Ryan replacement?
Uh, it truly seems calculated, disingenuous, duplicitous, and extremely manipulative in this eleventh hour. I would have been more impressed if McCarthy insisted the House go on the record BEFORE this election cycle instead of afterwards.

On another note…
Glenn Beck had a great program today with his guest Dr. James Lindsay. Seriously, you have to listen to the entire interview. It is absolutely brilliant.
