Yesterday I got a telephone notification that my business card had been pulled as the winner for a lunch, on the house, at Chicken Salad Chick on Zelda Road. So today we, Charlie Ross, Honey-do and I, went there for lunch.
I am sorry that I did not take a photo before we chowed into our lunches. Guess that is the best commentary on how delicious the food is! Mine is the soup and Old Fashioned chicken salad scoop. The reason for the three cookies? One, to save the 2 and half year old from himself. The Honey-do put his cookie on my plate in solidarity so the little one did not have a fit over having his cookie held hostage until he ate mac-n-cheese and fruit cup first. Honey-do had the turkey-bacon-club with a scoop of the Buffalo chicken salad. Each meal came with a crisp slice of dill pickle.
The crew is always kind and attentive at the Zelda Road location. The food is, as previously mentioned, delicious and consistently so therefore winning a complimentary lunch at a place I, and the We, enjoy going to made it taste that much better!
