Being less on social media has given me more opportunities to read and to watch The Blaze or listen to it in the background during my day. I usually have The Blaze on most of the time anyway however, not being distracted by social media has allowed me to really listen to it during the day.
Pat Gray Unleashed is a favorite! As the Morning Guy I love hearing him when I wake up. I am thrilled that CRTV’s Steve Deace is now a crossover show on The Blaze. Deace is on after Glenn Beck Radio so the line up is really working for me.
Oh, if only he could hear me screaming what I know through the television screen. The Scorecard is so my friend when it comes to calling out alleged Republicans in Congress. And I really like to use it when Military people run for office, as though their military service makes them more worthy to sit in the House or Senate.
I am right there with you Steve. Great shows this week and I look forward to more to come. Thanks for talking about the things that matter to me.
Yeah. Right. So now, after the election there is an alleged attempt to possibly have another feigned effort/promise to be finally kept by the GOP to do what the people have wanted done on Day 1 of the Trump Presidency? Now there is a bravado on the tail end of the small and #NotPermanentTaxCuts, #FullRepealEpicFail and the #Cromnibus?
“For the last two years, House Republicans have been frustrated as their leadership remains content to allow the Senate to call the shots, unwilling to engage openly in favor of their own priorities. (Or, for that matter, their own bills. Nearly 600 House bills are languishing in the Senate, waiting for action.)”
And this bill touted by Kevin McCarthy, who might be out to kill the Jim Jordan nomination for Speaker of the House as the Paul Ryan replacement?
Uh, it truly seems calculated, disingenuous, duplicitous, and extremely manipulative in this eleventh hour. I would have been more impressed if McCarthy insisted the House go on the record BEFORE this election cycle instead of afterwards.
True doctrine, understood, changes attitudes and behavior.
The study of the doctrines of the gospel will improve behavior quicker than a study of behavior will improve behavior. Preoccupation with unworthy behavior can lead to unworthy behavior. That is why we stress so forcefully the study of the doctrines of the gospel.
The ability to read, ponder, and then act upon the ideas you formulate through critical thinking matter. It is important to preserving personal freedom. You never know who you may influence through your open and honest approach to seeing things as they really are.
Mike Lee deserves far more respect and support than he currently gets from the PRL (Progressive Republican Leadership). He is one of the most measured men in the Senate. He is thoughtful. He is prudent. He is a superb listener. He is a scholar of the United States Constitution. He has a great capacity to act with decisiveness and in wisdom. He is a man never to be conquered. And then there are others, like Mike Lee, who are never to be conquered.
Larry Arn of Hillsdale College was one of the first to initiate free online classes to help enlighten the masses about our divinely inspired Constitution. His programs have inspired many fine young people to enter into the political realms, armed with knowledge well steeped in original thoughts from the framers of our government.
This list is not an exhaustive one. It is one where I choose to place my time and or money in support of men and women never to be conquered.
And one more thing. Be sure to watch THE SWAMP,Episodes 1 – 3.
Do you think you should vote against Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants?
What action do you think Congress should take regarding Sanctuary Cities?
Do you support Obamacare?
Will you FULL REPEAL Obamacare?
Will you replace Obamacare with a truly FREE MARKET?
What are you doing to get government bureaucrats out of Healthcare?
Will you vote to give all unused tax dollars back to the taxpayers?
Do you support unused tax dollars staying in a congressional slush fund?
Will you, before the midterm election, vote for a $15.4 billion rescissions package?
Do you agree that bureaucrats have excessive rule making authority?
Do you believe you, and your fellow congressional colleagues, have the obligation and reposnsibility to check and balance excessive rule making bureaucrats from oppressing people ?
If you have an opinion on North Korea, more power to you. If you want to know what other people think, then ask questions about that which you have power to vote on and legislate for the sake of Conservative/Libertarians.
It would be really lovely if you would pick a side and then frame the debate with your thoughts so we know what you think.
The first article has several links in it. I have briefly checked out a couple of them, for I have not yet had time to peruse them because words mean something and it is important to go through them to discover what is is in the article.
“…while it is important to oppose the policies of an overreaching and unsustainable federal government, we must also make a positive case for conservative ideas; ideas that create a space for a conservative vision of society to flourish.”
“Today, there is much talk about moderation. It reminds me of a former colleague of mine at the EEOC [Equal Employment Opportunity Commission] who often joked that he was a ‘gun-toting moderate’ – a curiously oxymoronic perspective. Just think of that: dying over half a loaf.”
There is a big difference between a middle road and the middle of the road. There is also a big difference between taking a wrong road and continuing down the wrong road opposed to taking the right middle road that leads you to your destination, the common good for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Conservativism is what it is. Everything else is not.
