Years ago a question was posed by the speaker in a meeting I attended:
What is the greatest power in the universe?
Freedom to Choose. Just ask any two year old.
So what and who are you voting for? Freedom or bondage?
Vote Person not Party. Know the issues, know the person, know the people who surround and advise the person/s you choose to vote for. Be not deceived.
Vote. Choose wisely.
Today was the first day of the Montgomery Stake Conference. My husband sat in leadership meetings this afternoon and then I joined him for the evening session that is open to all adults 18 years and older.
Below are links to my additional research as I ponder over tonight’s discussions and how true principles apply anywhere and everywhere.
Ministering and Finding Common Ground.
Divine truth is absolute reality.
The Power of Teaching Doctrine – by Henry B. Eyring, quote:
The word of God is the doctrine taught by Jesus Christ and by His prophets. Alma knew that words of doctrine had great power. They can open the minds of people to see spiritual things not visible to the natural eye. And they can open the heart to feelings of the love of God and a love for truth.
What I appreciate about Dr. M. Zhudi Jasser is how his organization, American Islamic Forum for Democracy, plainly states on their page titled, Why Change?:
Islamism, a theo-political ideology bent on the subjugation of anyone who doesn’t adhere to its aims, is a political movement distinct from personal piety and ethics. As Islamist voices became louder and began to hold more political power, especially throughout the twentieth century, the battle of ideas within the “house of Islam” reached a fever pitch. Worldwide, the struggle against Islamist violence has become a personal concern to more people – of all religions – than ever before.
AIFD was formed in the wake of the horrific attacks of 9/11 to engage in this battle, from the side of anti-Islamist reform, freedom and human rights. For over a decade, AIFD has been working to advance reform within the Muslim community, supporting universal human rights and opposing the hateful ideologies of Islamism and fascism.
You want Tolerance? Then fight for this cultural battle: Spread the Idea of Freedom using the thoughts, ideas, and words of Hussein Aboubakr and Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Dr. Jasser.
Almost two years ago I wrote a piece about Why I Bother about being politically active and it applies to why I read and research information that is important to me. And then once in a while I find things that The Opposition are reading or writing and I, depending upon who recommends it to me, may or may not read it.
Today there was a fascinating interview on Glenn Beck’s radio show. Read the transcript of the conversation here:
Will the Next Big Revolution Create a Worthless Class of Humans?
Now you understand why, like the Elites, I will be reading:
Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow
And you should too. You will be caught behind the curve if you do not understand what worthless means and who the worthless class currently is and who will be in it in the future.
