Dear Mitch McCONnell & Paul Ryan

Please turn the #SchumerShutdown into something positive.

Please, press for an up-or-down vote on every issue.

Please, clean up the Senate and the House so every Senator has to go on the record about what he or she is voting for or against each and every vote.

#Basta

Ryanocare: So mad I could spit!

Reading through so much info on the, alleged, Republican Obamacare bill today, all I feel is disgust. Paul Ryan and Mike Pence and all of the GOP Leadership appear to be exercising sophistry against the Conservatives in Congress with this #Ryanocare plan.

So to my friend who asked me what I think: I am so mad I could spit

QUOTE: Michael A. Needham

“In many ways, the House Republican proposal released last night not only accepts the flawed progressive premises of Obamacare but expands upon them. Ronald Reagan once said, ‘Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.’ The AHCA does all three.”

In lieu of spitting or spewing out words in rage, I am posting all of the things I have read today that matter most to me. Yeah, right after stating how  irritating it is that Paul Ryan was supported as the Speaker of the House. Yeah. I could spit over that one too.

To everyone who voted for Speaker Ryan to remain in power, how is that working out for you now?

Oooo, that Mike Pence. Yeah. Wanting to spit over the Pence article below, my advice to members of congress, especially mine in Florida: #REVOLTandFULLREPEAL.

Read why #RyanocareHell = #ObamacareHell and then take it to your member of Congress. (And please, if you spit, do not tell them I sent you.)

Sebastian Gorka can #FrameTheDebate

There was a great tweet that Andrew C. McCarthy put out regarding an interview with Sebastian Gorka on PBS. When Andrew recommends something you know it is definitely worth looking into. And wowser was it worth watching. Sebastian Gorka can #FrameTheDebate.

CPAC 2017: Original Sources

I love to watch CPAC but this year my schedule did not allow me much time for keeping up with everything on this opening day. Thank Heavens for the Internet and YouTube for providing live streaming of the event and especially for all of the organizations that have posted videos.

Deneen Borelli is wonderful, powerful and I know that for a fact because I met her once and watched speak LIVE at a Freedom Works event. Today I thought she was spectacular with this recap and her personal insight:

Jim DeMint, a Consistent Conservative, is someone I have watched for years and I was fortunate enough to have met with him when I lived in Florida. I have learned a lot from watching and listening to Jim and today was no different. Jim understands how, like all of my favorite Consistent Conservative do, to frame a debate.

This segment with Governors discussing Federalism was excellent. I particularly enjoyed Governor Walker with his dollar bill object lesson.

I heard a small portion of Ted Cruz’s segment with Mark Levin earlier today but I am excited to watch the entire interview now, well, as soon as I finish this post because Ted mentioned #FireBureaucrats and that was music to my ears!

To learn more about CPAC go to CPAC.org and check out the agenda for the rest of this annual event.

Living on the Dole is not Welfare

The word welfare, properly defined means faring well as in going or getting along well, succeeding well, doing well.

Dole, properly defined, means an allotted share, a grant, a handout, a portioned amount therefore living on the dole is not the same as faring well.

Notice I specifically stated Living on the Dole. Again, the keyword being l-i-v-i-n-g on the alloted share-grant-handout-proportioned amount. Yeah, I do not count that as thriving or succeeding or doing well as in self-sufficiency.

Case in Point: “Fable of the Gullible Gull,” Reader’s Digest, Oct. 1950, p. 32.

“In our friendly neighbor city of St. Augustine great flocks of sea gulls are starving amid plenty. Fishing is still good, but the gulls don’t know how to fish. For generations they have depended on the shrimp fleet to toss them scraps from the nets. Now the fleet has moved. …

“The shrimpers had created a Welfare State for the … sea gulls. The big birds never bothered to learn how to fish for themselves and they never taught their children to fish. Instead they led their little ones to the shrimp nets.

“Now the sea gulls, the fine free birds that almost symbolize liberty itself, are starving to death because they gave in to the ‘something for nothing’ lure! They sacrificed their independence for a handout.

“A lot of people are like that, too. They see nothing wrong in picking delectable scraps from the tax nets of the U.S. Government’s ‘shrimp fleet.’ But what will happen when the Government runs out of goods? What about our children of generations to come?

“Let’s not be gullible gulls. We … must preserve our talents of self-sufficiency, our genius for creating things for ourselves, our sense of thrift and our true love of independence.”

Thus we see why #FullRepeal and so getting rid of many other addictive government programs is of paramount concern to those who work for what they have.

Today, and every day,  Congress has the Power to stop a nation from living on the dole. Basta. Congress simply needs to stop stalling, stop fretting over low-info voters, and trust the voters who put them into office to #ReclaimAmerica.

Stop Stalling: Congress has the Power

Remember the FIRST TIME the Senate voted to #RepealObamacare?

And in case you were wondering about “the short history ” of the Republican votes to #RepealObamacare here is the January 30, 2014 version from Politico. Specifically note the dates of repeal.

In Dean Clancy’s Yes, We Can Repeal Every Word of Obamacare he points out two things that we need to remind the House and Senate about regarding #FullRepeal:

The first offers unmistakable evidence that the Obamacare exchanges are collapsing, contrary to the Left’s “everything is working fine” narrative.

The second proves the Senate can repeal the law’s onerous insurance mandates with only a simple majority, rather than a bipartisan supermajority—something that, up till now, Republican leaders have (conveniently) denied.

So what is Congress now stalling for? Remember this:

Let me take a moment to refresh your memory on the deceptive statements that are still circulating. Read the article and with information to help you counter false claims then go forward in telling your members of Congress that #GovernmentShouldNotRunOurLives. Let them know you are there to support #ObamacareREPEAL. Let them know it is high time to #StopStalling and simply #FullRepeal. #RepealNow.

Stop the Bullies: Be your own Lobbyist

It is your right and civil obligation to join with good men and women in honorable organizations to increase your capacity to make your voice heard in Government. You also have the right and civil obligation to be well informed in order to speak your mind. So allow me to introduce you to the wonderful world of Heritage Action (HAction).mike-needham-demanded-change

First of all, standing against tyrant-progressive agendas is not bullying. Disagreeing with fervor is not bullying. And speaking for yourself, lobbying independently as a citizen is not bullying no matter what organization you choose to join with in order to keep yourself well informed. Well, let me rephrase that last part: No matter which sensible organization you join.

Another way to be well informed is to know what the Progressives are doing to be organized and how they are now working to take on Conservatives who are tired of being bullied. Check out the following to see how they operate:

HAction understands how to #FrameTheDebate to be effective in connecting with legislators. Because HAction stands for freedom, for transparency, and is notoriously thorough in discussing issues the HAction team members can usually present both sides on an issue, no matter how wrong one side is, for HAction team members embrace the opportunity for discourse in foundational principles steeped in the United States Constitution.

Reagan Goverments 1st Duty.pngThose I know in HAction are usually calm and not prone to obnoxious outbursts. They speak well. They believe in the grassroots individual being equal to taking on responsibility to become self-educated on subjects that are of concern to the nation. HAction leadership trusts You and Me, The We in the people, to help keep legislators informed.

Together, we work to keep information flowing to our neighbors, our friends, and especially to our members of Congress. HAction team members, Sentinels, are all about being free to choose, not being coerced or “nudged” into doing things against our will

No Welching: Full Repeal and End FedED

Thomas Massie, yeah, that one, was on DANA this evening and it was a fabulous segment. He spoke about how his #EndFedED bill came about. You can read about the bill on his webpage. What a great gift to taxpayers and children everywhere if you can get your members of Congress to sign on to the bill immediately. #OneIssueOneVote. (And #SassyWithMassie)

So what is the deal, the hold up in the House Ways & Means Committee, the House Energy & Commerce Committee, the Senate Finance Committee, and the Senate Health & Education & Labor & Pensions Committee in getting it together to write a budget reconciliation bill with #FullRepeal of Obamacare in it? Why the stalling? Who is stalling the full repeal of Obamacare when it really should have been, from the beginning a #OneIssueOneVote.

James Wallner frames a great debate about the nonsense in delaying Full Repeal. He writes, “Congressional Democrats are unlikely to negotiate when the price of doing so is to facilitate Obamacare’s demise.”

So again the question must be asked and voters must know WHO is holding up the full repeal of Obamacare in each committee, when a simple up or down vote to end the nightmare for so many people suffering from #ObamacareHell should have happened already? full-repeal-obamacare-years

Dan Bongino had a great Facebook Live post yesterday about “Are the Democrats setting themselves up for catastrophic losses in 2018?” My response to him was “… so how do we keep Republicans from ruining our Conservative lead? If there’s no #FullRepeal that will be on the Republicans who do not make it happen.”

Here we have Massie, who just jumps in and does the hard thing to #EndFedED and yet we have a House full of people too afraid to do the right thing, the very thing they were voted into office for, actually riding #FullRepeal of Obamacare into the offices they sit in today.

It makes me wonder if the flinchers, the welchers – possible implementers of sophistry, are even capable of reducing the role of government in any form or fashion.

Remember when Ryan said….

Remember when newly re-elected Speaker Ryan said in his post re-election acceptance speech….

3f3943d8-cea4-4f6b-96ac-3c25fd3ef24e

“I want to say to the American people: We hear you. We will do right by you. And we will deliver.”

Yeah. How long did that last?

Read his position on Health Care here. Do not cherry pick through the first couple of I’m so wonderful to have done blah-blah-blah paragraphs. Really read and look for his personal beliefs in what he wants Government to control and pay for.

Next read his big promotional plan for what he believes is “A Better Way” and see if you find #FullRepeal instead of repair as his agenda.

Then remember the One and Only Republican who voted AGAINST RYAN as the Speaker of the House in 2017.

Yeah. I say KUDOS to Thomas Massie for having the courage to vote his conscience. Especially now that it appears Ryan and his cohorts are ignoring the will of the people who gave Republicans the majority to end Obamacare Hell.

Please listen to Thomas Massie from 2015 at the 9.12 Grassroots Summit I attended and you will see why I respect him, immensely, for staying the course. Especially pay attention around the 6 minute mark on. See how the Swamp Leaders punished Massie and Meadows for staying the course and what it took for them to fight back.

Do you really think Paul Ryan is going to #FullRepeal or just keep smirking and smiling and massaging your emotional response to remain on the ACA plantation?

Remember: ALL Americans deserve the freedom to choose a plan without Government interference or control.

Lame Duck, Elections, Mike Needham

Mike Needham has a great Op-Ed Open Letter in response to a recent Wall Street Journal Op-Ed. Mike is my hero when it comes to speaking plainly, fairly, and pointedly.

My thoughts on his op-ed?

“but they are appear eager to dismiss its root causes.” ~ Yes. The Lame Duck Continuing Resolution through December 8th is an example. The excessive increasing of the National Debt is an example. The insane Drafting of Women is an example.

And how is Paul Ryan any different than his predecessor, John Boehner, as an example? (1)

What has Mitch McConnell offered the American people and is he as good as his word? (2)

“Failing to deliver promised electoral consequences will have consequences” said Lester Jackson.(3)

As a member of Heritage Foundation, having used their research in conjunction with other think tank ideas, I cautiously watched the Heritage Action (HAction) program unfold. I wanted to see how things were going work, how consistent HAction was going to be, what it would become.  It did not take me long to appreciate the focused educational approach HAction takes in promoting and framing debates for Constitutional centered ideas. Mike Needham exceeded my expectations as CEO.

Remember when Mike said:

Here we are in 2016 and Mike is still correct. And he is right today when he talks about the Opportunity for All: Favoritism to None Solutions that matter most, fair solutions that any candidate, especially Donald Trump, should be focused upon if serious about winning this election and serving as President of the United States.

Do your own research. Download your copy here. Read it. Study it. Challenge your thinking and stand on common ground for the common good.

And then educate your House and Senate members. #MakeDCListen
