Mike Lee deserves far more respect and support than he currently gets from the PRL (Progressive Republican Leadership). He is one of the most measured men in the Senate. He is thoughtful. He is prudent. He is a superb listener. He is a scholar of the United States Constitution. He has a great capacity to act with decisiveness and in wisdom. He is a man never to be conquered. And then there are others, like Mike Lee, who are never to be conquered.
Jim DeMint is one of those men and he founded the Conservative Partnership Institute to help We, the People, help those in Washington, D.C. who are trying to #DrainTheSwamp.
Jenny Beth Martin, founder of the Tea Party Patriots, is a woman never to be conquered. She continues to press the PRL to keep their promises.
Dennis Prager is doing an amazing work through his Prager University online videos.
Janine Turner’s Constituting America is a fabulous organization for she, like Mr. Prager and Mr. DeMint understand the foundational education process necessary to bring up the next generation of Conservative Guardians for our Nation.
Larry Arn of Hillsdale College was one of the first to initiate free online classes to help enlighten the masses about our divinely inspired Constitution. His programs have inspired many fine young people to enter into the political realms, armed with knowledge well steeped in original thoughts from the framers of our government.
This list is not an exhaustive one. It is one where I choose to place my time and or money in support of men and women never to be conquered.
And one more thing. Be sure to watch THE SWAMP, Episodes 1 – 3.
Well. I have good news and bad news so here we go…
THE BAD NEWS
When I heard the rumor of Jim DeMint being ousted from Heritage Foundation last week, I took everything with a grain of salt while keeping a close eye on the Twitter feeds of DeMint, Heritage, Heritage Action, and Mike Needham. There was nothing but silence. so I knew something was wrong. Then more information kept rolling out so I tried to analyze what was being written to not make an emotional judgment.
By Sunday I knew I would be pulling my membership donation to Heritage even if half of the debacle was true. Still, I held off until Monday in a good faith gesture to Heritage but when more information kept coming out with silence from Heritage, well, it was all over for me. My heart felt heavy for I have been a Heritage Foundation member since 2002 and a follower of Heritage since long before that therefore, my phone call to Heritage, first thing this morning, was exceptionally bittersweet.
I love Jim DeMint and I love Mike Needham. I love being a Heritage Action Sentinel. For how long is yet to be determined, especially after the rather ugly announcement by Heritage’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Thomas A. Saunders, III that was then forwarded to Heritage Action Sentinels. (Bad Form, Mr Saunders. Not a good enough intro to the forward, Mike.)
I have absolutely NO REGRETS in pulling out of donating to Heritage Foundation over this debacle and especially for their torching Jim DeMint. Ben Domenech said it best on Twitter:
THE GOOD NEWS…
The good news is I can now spread some of that Heritage donation money around to PragerU.com, Sons Of Liberty International, Hillsdale College, MercuryOne.org and maybe even Star Parker’s UrbanCure.org. And of course that means more to rid the House and Senate of Progressive Republicans by donating to Senate Conservatives Fund. (They help clean the House too!)
In case you missed it and need a moment of diversion from the mainstream media and the oppositional defiant subversion movement, and before I post more stuff below:
If you have not yet discovered the National Center for Conservative Studies please take a moment to check out their website and specifically look for the 5000 Year Leap. If you have not yet read it you might consider getting a copy.
