Take Back The Senate: #DitchMitch

Schumer is the problem. So is Mitch McCONnell. The problem is the Senate but Mike Lee with Thomas Massie keep trying to educate the public on the bottle neck process that is hurting the American people while oppressing the taxpayers. Like David Horowitz says: It’s the Senate, Stupid.

Today’s Reading List:

  1. Boyd Matheson: Shutdown insanity — political posturing at people’s expense
  2. ‘SCHUMER SHUTDOWN’ SHOWS MCCONNELL WILL GIVE DEMOCRATS DEALS HE WON’T GIVE REPUBLICANS
  3. Chuck Schumer Just Lost The Shutdown, Bigly

Representative Thomas Massie’s video is really fantastic on the Omnibus or Continuing Resolution. (Unfortunately it is not on YouTube otherwise I would embed it.)

Senator Mike Lee, author of Our Lost Constitution: The Willful Subversion of America’s Founding Document, has encouraged We, The People, to actively engage our Senators into doing the right thing. He knows that We, The People, must demand that they vote “on the 12 appropriations bills that the House has already passed.” He keeps asking, pleading for our help.

Engaging our politicians is the way it should be done. That is the way it must be done. Our unified voices insisting our politicians consistently press house and senate leadership for an Up-or-Down-vote on each of the 12 bills creates transparency. Then there is accountability. Then there are no more excuses so the House and Senate members can truly do the work We, the People, sent them there to do.

America is not a country for servile men and women. We not only have a right to be free, but a duty to be free. For “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”

Dear Mitch McCONnell & Paul Ryan

Please turn the #SchumerShutdown into something positive.

Please, press for an up-or-down vote on every issue.

Please, clean up the Senate and the House so every Senator has to go on the record about what he or she is voting for or against each and every vote.

#Basta

Without naming the title….

This morning on Twitter my friend posted a response to the question: Without naming the title, what is your favourite movie?

That question made me smile for just last night the Honey-do and I were talking about how much we loved growing up with our parents favorite movies and shows. We remember growing up with black and white movies on television and I remember having a black and white television when my parents could finally afford one.

“Walk slow, like you do when you come to pay your taxes.”

It is difficult to choose my favorite movie but the above quote is from a movie I like very much. Seems appropriate to quote while waiting with bated breath to see if the Progressive Republicans will actually pass a meaningful #TaxReform.

Seriously, I do not see Paul Ryan or Mitch McCONnell running toward #StopSpending or permanently, let alone immediately, #Kill the #DeathTax or the #ParentTaxPenalty or #SALT either.

And what about that #ContinuingSpendingResolution vs #BalancedBudget?

“You’d be surprised how quickly things get done when you do some actual work and don’t rely on political favors.”

The Killers of Conservative Values

http://www.RushLimbaugh.com

Honestly, I am so sick of McConnell and Ryan I am past wanting to spit. They are not, seemingly, honorable leaders of a Conservative movement. They are not, or so it seems, concerned with voters or what we want. They seem to be totally unconcerned about promoting Conservative Values. They seem to be consistently killing those values while smirking, smiling, and posing for the cameras. They are #TheEstablishment. The certainly seem to prove themselves #Progressives.

I think Rush has possibly nailed it: McConnell and Ryan Are Just Fine with Trump’s Deal

Thanks to Mike Lee, who is truly the #ConsistentConservative:

“Raising the debt limit without spending reforms is bad policy. Tying the debt limit to emergency disaster relief is a disgraceful process. The American people deserve better and I will not vote for this status quo deal that only perpetuates the worst of Washington.”  ~ Senator Mike Lee

Relief for Houston: NO PORK PLEASE

Only the House and the Senate could mess up relief for Houston by passing a pork laden bill, like they did with Hurricane Sandy.

What is wrong with Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan? Why do they refuse to simply up or down vote a CLEAN bill when it comes to spending?

What do you do with a drunken sailor?

What do you do with the people you voted into power, or maybe you did not vote them into power because the candidate of your choice was far more fiscally conservative, and now those you did not vote for are, seemingly, in a drunken stupor over their perceived power and control to manipulate and gerrymander the legislative process?

I remember when, and still believe, Mitch McConnell lied to Ted Cruz.

And recently, I wonder who lied when….

Now there are those pushing for Tax Reform. But what about fully repealing Obamacare as essential to serious tax reform?

Get out your copy of The Declaration of Independence. Read it and then read this:

So what to do?

America is not a country for servile men and women. We not only have a right to be free, but a duty to be free. Bombastic McLame vs ReasonabLee

I do not care that John McCain was a War Hero when he, who is wealthy enough to not have use Obamacare for his own condition, makes his grand entrance to berate Conservatives and then vote-a-rama sabotage Full Repeal.  Especially when Mike Lee has been fighting for the Forgotten Men and Women in America and when the GOP Leadership, that appears to be McCONnell-McLame-HatchetMan, have done nothing but slam and bully Conservatives in the House and Senate.

At least after today’s vote we see, on the record, the Progressives in the GOP who are  firmly set on enslaving the middle class with Obamacare Hell. (Spit!)

Make no mistake, McLame. YOU are the establishment and YOU ARE the ruling class. (Great show, Chris Salcedo and Monica Crowley.)

On the other hand, the true BIPARTISANS (oh I am sick of that word but yet they are),  have stayed the course to work out some sort of reasonable agreement that will free everyone from the overarching reach of government. Men like Mike Lee, Jerry Moran, and Ted Cruz. They have framed the debate. They have, for months, gone forward in discussions to reasonably state their case while being stabbed in the back, slapped in the face, and openly rebuked without just cause

I said it the other day and I repeat it, this time to John McCain: The more you and your Progressive Republicans pushback against Mike Lee, Jerry Moran, and Ted Cruz for their ability and willingness to stand for the Forgotten Men and Women in America, the more I believe in them. Therefore to you and Mitch McConnell and Orrin Hatch and one else in your pockets: Get Out of the Way. I will not be forgotten. My Sentinel2Sentinel friends and family will not be forgotten

And you can bet your sweet bippy that we will not forget how you play your political game, hoarding up power, as you suppose, and filling up your coffers with money made from the blood, sweat, and tears at the expense of the American taxpayers and the poor.

Mike Lee is right. Humility is lacking in BCRA. It also appears to be sorely lacking in the Progressive Republican Leadership wonks for they make sure everything is really good for the rich and the well-connected and a handful of big wealthy corporations and power brokers. They do not care, if they notice at all, how everyone else tends to suffer. (Mike Lee on Glenn Beck

Tomorrow is another day. We, Sentinel2Sentinel, will never be out of this fight for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

We will rise up.

We will prevail.

We are Maverick….and ReasonabLee so.

Just focus on Lee and Cruz and…

The Ryan-McConnell tag team has just about worn out their welcome as far as I am concerned. This nightmare they have perpetuated with AHCA and now BCRA is shameful. Senator Mike Lee’s opinion, The Missing Ingredient in BCRA: Humility is absolutely spot on and that is why I am going to begin focusing on the solution makers, not the Progressive Republican Leadership.

Also stuck in my mind is this quote from JimDeMint when he and Glenn Beck had a great conversation about Jim joining with the Convention of States organization:

“But I’ve also realized that no matter what happens, no matter who we elect, Congress is never going to stop spending. That they’re going to keep spending and creating debt, until we have some kind of crisis or meltdown. And our Founders knew that that was a possibility, that they gave us the fire alarm on the wall, to break the glass and pull the lever. And that’s in Article V of the Constitution, where they’ve said the states could come together and propose amendments to the Constitution. In this case, we have to get the states to force the federal government to have physical restraint. To limited jurisdiction. And hopefully even to term limit members of Congress and maybe even the judiciary.”  ~ Source:EXCLUSIVE: Jim DeMint Weighs in on Russia and His New Role at Convention of States

And ICYMI, Ted Cruz knows how to #FrameTheDebate while taking on Progressives using sophistry to continue the Obamacare deception.

Grand Old Progressives, allegedly

Just what does ACA’s Net Investment Income Tax really mean? What does revenue really mean in the freakspeak society of Washington D.C.? And what about funding? Where does all that funding magically come from? Whose pockets get picked for revenue funding projects like Obamcare or AHCA or BCRA?

Is the Obamacare investment tax really such a big deal?

And what about those taxes, ahem, I mean revenue? How will it be spent?

Are Senate Republicans Going Soft On Obamacare’s Taxpayer-Funded Abortions?

And then ask yourself: Are Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker Paul Ryan really serious about tax reform?

Now take a moment to go back and listen to this fantastic presentation by Senator Mike Lee, a consistent conservative in the Grand Old Party, as in not a progressive.

Now read this to see how consistent Senators Lee and Cruz are in staying true to the Forgotten Men and Women and Families in America:

Cruz, Lee Push Amendment to GOP Bill to Give Insurers More Options

And now you know why I #StandWith Lee and Cruz.

Rewrite the bill: BCRA is not Full Repeal

WASHINGTON – Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) released the following statement Wednesday after a procedural vote on the Better Care Reconciliation Act was delayed:

“The first draft of the bill included hundreds of billions of dollars in tax cuts for the affluent, bailouts for insurance companies, and subsidies for lower-income Americans. But it ignored the middle-class families who have borne the brunt of Obamacare, and who have been left behind by both parties in Washington for too long. That’s why I opposed it. And it’s why I’m happy we postponed the vote today.”

“Republicans have an opportunity now to remember those forgotten Americans. We can rewrite our bill to bring down the price working families pay for health insurance – while still protecting Americans with pre-existing conditions. I look forward to working with my colleagues, and President Trump, to finally stand up and deliver for the middle class.”
Glenn Beck had a great segment on the Progressive Republican Leadership Healthcare debacle today:

“That lie is that the parliamentarian has said, ‘You cannot repeal Obamacare. You have to choose.’ And so the parliamentarian would not allow them to fully repeal Obamacare,” Glenn explained. There’s just one problem: The parliamentarian was never asked and, in fact, ruled they could take all of Obamacare or none of it.”

Listen to the radio broadcast begin here: https://youtu.be/fOnsH4rXWaU?t=19m12s or start at the 19min:12sec mark below:

Please be sure to watch all of the segments with Mark Levin:

MARK: I mean, when it comes to toasters and refrigerators and cars and so forth, we get to make those decisions. But when it comes to our own well-being and our own lifestyle — and I try to dig in — and, Glenn, you’re familiar with these things — I try to dig in and explain to people, cut through all the static, all the chatter that’s going on, on TV, and even some radio and so forth and understand more deeply what’s going on here, or we’re going to get caught in the weeds and we’ll never get out of the weeds. So that’s the purpose of the book.

There is absolutely no reason for Mitch McConnell or Paul Ryan to oppress Americans by withholding #FullRepeal.

Call them up and tell them to Full Repeal Obamacare if they really care about Americans and our right to our freedom to choose.

Then call Senators Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Ron Johnson and Dean Heller to thank them for standing firm on their promises to repeal Obamacare.
