Is Paul Ryan trying to look Presidential?

It seems like Paul Ryan is working very hard at running for a future presidential campaign.  Everything is so well staged. Everything appears to be dignified. Most notably things seem to make him appear like a young Jack Kennedy. It seems like Ryan’s handlers are preparing him to look like a leader for a run for something bigger, in the near future.

If that is indeed the case then Paul Ryan needs to be well vetted on his true leadership capabilities and where he specifically stands on smaller government because frankly, for all of his yammering and staged personality, I find him sorely lacking in his performance claims.

  • What exactly, as a LEADER, has Paul Ryan done to cut taxes and spending and rein in the debt?
  • What exactly, as a LEADER, has Paul Ryan done to limit the size and scope of the federal government and return authority to states and to the American people?
  • What exactly, as a LEADER, has Paul Ryan done to get rid of Obamacare and promote health care solutions based on free enterprise, not government controls?
  • What exactly, as a LEADER, has Paul Ryan done to protect America from foreign threats, secure the border, and develop a robust, principled foreign policy that puts America first?
  • What exactly, as a LEADER, has Paul Ryan done to ensure that our judges and lawmakers uphold the Constitution of the United States, starting by halting executive overreach?

But first, let us flashback to November 17, 1998when Paul Ryan set foot on the political path to Speaker of the House…and beyond? Take your time and really listen to the whole question and answer segment, especially after the section on his family.

Note: And remember when Paul Ryan said“I want to say to the American people: We hear you. We will do right by you. And we will deliver.” (Begin at 4:19)

In case you missed it, watch and listen to Thomas Massie: At least McConnell got health care bill to a vote.

And thanks to Thomas Massie, that is why I keep asking those original questions of Mr. Speaker and why you should ask him too, especially now it appears he is walking the walk on that path to a presidential run.

#NoBailouts  #FullRepeal  #CutCapBalance

#MakeGovernmentSmallAgain

#RealTaxReform

In fairness I must point out Jim Geraghty’s piece in National Review: A Busy House but specifically quote him in paragraph three :

“In fact, the House keeps sending bills over to the Senate, month after month: 250 in all so far this year…. Quite of few of those bills are minor — …but a significant number would count as accomplishments worth boasting about on the campaign trail next year if they were signed into law.

Oh yeah, and #WeAreStillWaiting Mr. Speaker.

Bombastic McLame vs ReasonabLee

I do not care that John McCain was a War Hero when he, who is wealthy enough to not have use Obamacare for his own condition, makes his grand entrance to berate Conservatives and then vote-a-rama sabotage Full Repeal.  Especially when Mike Lee has been fighting for the Forgotten Men and Women in America and when the GOP Leadership, that appears to be McCONnell-McLame-HatchetMan, have done nothing but slam and bully Conservatives in the House and Senate.

At least after today’s vote we see, on the record, the Progressives in the GOP who are  firmly set on enslaving the middle class with Obamacare Hell. (Spit!)

Make no mistake, McLame. YOU are the establishment and YOU ARE the ruling class. (Great show, Chris Salcedo and Monica Crowley.)

On the other hand, the true BIPARTISANS (oh I am sick of that word but yet they are),  have stayed the course to work out some sort of reasonable agreement that will free everyone from the overarching reach of government. Men like Mike Lee, Jerry Moran, and Ted Cruz. They have framed the debate. They have, for months, gone forward in discussions to reasonably state their case while being stabbed in the back, slapped in the face, and openly rebuked without just cause

I said it the other day and I repeat it, this time to John McCain: The more you and your Progressive Republicans pushback against Mike Lee, Jerry Moran, and Ted Cruz for their ability and willingness to stand for the Forgotten Men and Women in America, the more I believe in them. Therefore to you and Mitch McConnell and Orrin Hatch and one else in your pockets: Get Out of the Way. I will not be forgotten. My Sentinel2Sentinel friends and family will not be forgotten

And you can bet your sweet bippy that we will not forget how you play your political game, hoarding up power, as you suppose, and filling up your coffers with money made from the blood, sweat, and tears at the expense of the American taxpayers and the poor.

Mike Lee is right. Humility is lacking in BCRA. It also appears to be sorely lacking in the Progressive Republican Leadership wonks for they make sure everything is really good for the rich and the well-connected and a handful of big wealthy corporations and power brokers. They do not care, if they notice at all, how everyone else tends to suffer. (Mike Lee on Glenn Beck

Tomorrow is another day. We, Sentinel2Sentinel, will never be out of this fight for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

We will rise up.

We will prevail.

We are Maverick….and ReasonabLee so.

(Basta! Spit!)

Tell The Truth: Say it over and over again

Every time you see Mitch McConnell and his Senate Cronies play their videos or promote Obamacare 2.0 or 2.2 simply push back by retweeting the following thoughts:

  • Why not get rid of the federal government’s oppressive overreach? Just #FullRepeal.
  • Repeal has united us for years therefore #FullRepeal. #GetWashingtonDCOuttaMyWay
  • Why make everyone suffer on AHCA or BCRA? #FullRepeal.
  • I will not be forgotten! #ObamacareHurts therefore #FullRepeal.
  • #FullRepeal is the right message. End the suffering.
  • Be loyal to your #FullRepeal promise! #BeTrue to your constituents.
  • You can #Repeal at least two-thirds of #Obamacare with #51Votes.
  • Show #Bipartisan good will with Sen Mike Lee for #FullRepeal
  • Why didn’t you support the full #CFAmendment negotiated with #CruzLee?
  • Why did you gut the #CruzLeeAmendment? #FullRepeal. #StopTheOppression
  •  Allow exchanges to offer an insurance policy that a consumer would want to buy and an insurer would want to offer, #FullRepeal
  • #GetWashingtonDCOuttaMyWay and end the conflict with #FullRepeal

Reclaim America. Just tell the truth over and over again.

Rewrite the bill: BCRA is not Full Repeal

WASHINGTON – Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) released the following statement Wednesday after a procedural vote on the Better Care Reconciliation Act was delayed:

“The first draft of the bill included hundreds of billions of dollars in tax cuts for the affluent, bailouts for insurance companies, and subsidies for lower-income Americans. But it ignored the middle-class families who have borne the brunt of Obamacare, and who have been left behind by both parties in Washington for too long. That’s why I opposed it. And it’s why I’m happy we postponed the vote today.”

“Republicans have an opportunity now to remember those forgotten Americans. We can rewrite our bill to bring down the price working families pay for health insurance – while still protecting Americans with pre-existing conditions. I look forward to working with my colleagues, and President Trump, to finally stand up and deliver for the middle class.”
Glenn Beck had a great segment on the Progressive Republican Leadership Healthcare debacle today:

“That lie is that the parliamentarian has said, ‘You cannot repeal Obamacare. You have to choose.’ And so the parliamentarian would not allow them to fully repeal Obamacare,” Glenn explained. There’s just one problem: The parliamentarian was never asked and, in fact, ruled they could take all of Obamacare or none of it.”

Listen to the radio broadcast begin here: https://youtu.be/fOnsH4rXWaU?t=19m12s or start at the 19min:12sec mark below:

Please be sure to watch all of the segments with Mark Levin:

MARK: I mean, when it comes to toasters and refrigerators and cars and so forth, we get to make those decisions. But when it comes to our own well-being and our own lifestyle — and I try to dig in — and, Glenn, you’re familiar with these things — I try to dig in and explain to people, cut through all the static, all the chatter that’s going on, on TV, and even some radio and so forth and understand more deeply what’s going on here, or we’re going to get caught in the weeds and we’ll never get out of the weeds. So that’s the purpose of the book.

There is absolutely no reason for Mitch McConnell or Paul Ryan to oppress Americans by withholding #FullRepeal.

Call them up and tell them to Full Repeal Obamacare if they really care about Americans and our right to our freedom to choose.

Then call Senators Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Ron Johnson and Dean Heller to thank them for standing firm on their promises to repeal Obamacare.

In the beginning and in the end PUH-LEASE, Frame the Debate for Full Repeal

In the end it never goes well for Republicans to compromise. So why are they doing it with the AHCA today?

In the beginning “they” voted for the 2015 Repeal Bill but “they” chose to ignore that same bill again in 2017 on Day 1 of the Trump presidency. “They” cried Full Repeal in the beginning but Speaker Ryan, behind closed doors with NO conservative input, thrusted the AHCA-Hell bill on the Congress in March 2017.

The rumors of a compromise, or caving-in, have been swirling since the Freedom Caucus kept Ryan’s original bill off the floor. A couple of private groups have been angered to enraged about the rumors, but today even more so about the MacArthur-Meadows amendment, the one that has yet to be voted on and fused into the AHCA.

My question, what happened to the clean, one sentence, FULL Repeal Bill?

Another question, what happens to the AHCA if more lines of whatever amendments get stacked into it? Do we have to wait for it to pass to see what is in it?

So here are the links I am going to read through, probably more than a few times, tonight and tomorrow to see how “they” #FrameTheDebate before I form an opinon on this next step to the not-full-repeal-and-hope-the-Senate-is-more-honest-in-full-repeal-than-the-wimpy-House-progressive-nightmare AHCA that requires the MacArthur-Meadows Amendment to be palatable.

ACA/AHCA: “The power to tax is the power to destroy”

It is tax time and GOP leadership is going on about Tax plans. Well, how about #FullRepeal? Where is the talk about #Obamacare=the #ACA being a TAX PLAN?

Remember this:

As we all know, two years ago, Chief Justice John Roberts changed the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate into a tax and thus rescued President Obama’s signature legislation. What you may not know is that with this slight of hand—or flick of the wrist—he actually sent Obamacare flying from the constitutional frying pan into the constitutional fire. ~ Ilya Shapiro, MAY 12, 2014 @ 12:24 AM

Shapiro goes on to quote John Marshall, where Marshall “wrote in the foundational 1819 case of McCulloch v. Maryland“:

“The power to tax is the power to destroy,”

So Mr. Speaker. How about #FullRepeal and #CutCapandBalance? And while you are doing that, #MakeGovernmentSmallAgain. #Basta!

Healthcare: Know the History then Teach Others

I am posting the links to the SERIALS on Healthcare by Glenn Beck below. The reason for this is to stress the importance of full repeal and to help Constitutional activists review the foundational information needed to persuade your members of the House and Senate to stop negotiating toward the progressive agenda of single payer or Universal healthcare

#ObamacareHell is what is current law thanks to weak as water politicians capitulating then baiting and switching. I tend to agree with Adam Brandon, Ken Cuccinelli, Mike Needham, and David McIntosh that “IF Republicans are going to try to repeal Obamacare, they should go all the way.” (additional reading #3)

Make it so House Freedom Caucus. Make it so.

Nancy’s Social Folly: Obamacare

Remember the words of Nancy Pelosi’s #Obamacare. Then share the exceptionally reasonable#FullRepeal as the #BetterWay now that Pelosi’s #Obamacare begins to collapse in full glory before her.

Tell every member of congress full repeal is the only way to fundamentally reclaim healthcare. Push back with #NancysSocialFolly: #ACAHell  #DemsOwnIt.

Be sure to tell your story of #ObamacareHell and tag it #NancysSocialFolly.

What will Speaker Ryan do next?

Full Disclosure: I was AGAINST #Obamacare before I was FOR #FullRepeal.

WHEW! What a relief that Speaker Ryan pulled that horrible bill. Hope he really heard the American Voters this time because he, evidently, forgot what he heard the first time.

IF what Ryan says is true, about coming “really close”, it is disturbing. It makes the House Freedom Caucus more important than ever to ensure Ryanocare, or anything close to it,  dies an ignominious death.

That said, read these articles first and then watch the news conference with Speaker Ryan. Ask yourself if, for 7 years of trying, it is rather confusing as to why the Speaker did not begin with the 2015 bill put on Obama’s desk. Why wasn’t the 2015 bill, passed by in the House and Senate, not on Trump’s desk back in January?
