Rolling my eyes: Continuing Resolutions

  1. Stop the lie about the government shutting down.
  2. IT IS NOT A SHUTDOWN, it is a S L O W D O W N and
  3. I am sick of Continuing Resolutions: A Stinkin’ CR

I want to refresh Jim Jordan’s memory, and might as well call out the House Freedom Caucus to refresh their memories too. Let us go back to an article on

We all know how those follow-on Omnibus Bills have turned out for taxpayers:

What a stinkin’ week in D.C.

Yeah. So yammer, yammer, yammer, “like a divorce” yammer, yammer what side of the family do you choose? Yammer, Yammer, yammer, “we may never know what happened behind closed doors”, yammer, yammer.

Oh yeah. We do. Heritage’s Saunders torched DeMint and who from Heritage has come forward to right that wrong. Yeah. The yammering goes on as if nothing happened so let’s all move on.

No. Let’s not buy into the yammer, yammer, spin and let’s call Ugly Torching of Jim DeMint in the Saunders news release the Ugly that it is so Heritage does not do that sort of Ugly to anyone again.

Now, let’s move on.

Stinkin’ Omnibus. Stinking Progressive Republican Leadership. Stinking Progressive Republicans who vote for it. Argh! (What line of Progressive does Marco Rubio vote on?)

Stinkin’ “…Executive Order on Religious Liberty Is Worse Than Useless.”

Stinkin’ The Not Repeal AHCA that is, allegedly, better than Obamacare has a snowball’s chance of ever becoming #FullRepeal in the Senate, allegedly.

Yeah. like a divorce. Only the children suffer.

A Stinkin’ CR and Full Repeal Debate

The Continuing Resolution is all about extending the federal discretionary funds after April 28, 2017. Honestly, Congress has the Power of the Purse so with the threat of a Government Shutdown by the Democrats I say WHO CARES?

“They” claim Shutdown Government. Nope. No. No it is not a shutdown. It is a slowdown, a partial shutdown that keeps Congress from spending money but funds the military and other critical organizations within government. There have been slowdowns in the last several years and hey, I am all good with the slowing down of D.C. nonsense.   (Read: Can the House Avoid a Government Shutdown?)

This piece by Rachel Bovard is interesting: Shunning the Shutdown.  Beware the OMNIBUS spending bill! (Yes, the thought of the Omnibus bill makes me want to spit!) Remember this in 2014?

I have to put this video in from PragerU because it is important to #FrameTheDebate when it comes to budgeting and spending issues.

Now on to the #FullRepeal battle and other issues I wish my congressman, Bill Posey,  would go on record with, filled with solutions like Senator Mike Lee’s video below:
