RINO Number 9: Orrin Hatch

For the Utah transplant, Orrin Hatch, who built his retirement out of taxpayer pockets:

Don’t let the door hit your backside on the way out.

Take a look at Hatch’s Freedom Works Scorecard (only covers from 2005) to see how and when he chooses to be an alleged Republican. Of course, FreedomWorks, Conservative Review, and Heritage Action do not monitor the same bills so you really have to study each scorecard to see how and when he votes for a Republican vs Progressive agenda. (Note his 25% votes in 2007.)

The worst thing Orrin G. Hatch did, in 2017, was to not stand up for or with Senator Mike Lee when Mike stood his ground for the American people on HealthCare, quote:

“I don’t see him looking for a path to yes. It seems like he’s against everything right now,” said Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah). “That’s the way it looks to me.

In my opinion, Hatch exposed himself as an arrogant sellout employing that which seemed like sophistry to discredit Mike Lee. Hatch will always and forever pale in comparison to the indomitable statesman, Senator Mike Lee.

Orrin G. Hatch will, no doubt, relish in the accolades and praise from other RINO’s and progressives from his forty years reign in living out of taxpayer pockets. And no doubt, Mike Lee will be far more gracious towards Hatch in this retirement phase than Hatch deserves as an esteemed colleague

Bombastic McLame vs ReasonabLee

I do not care that John McCain was a War Hero when he, who is wealthy enough to not have use Obamacare for his own condition, makes his grand entrance to berate Conservatives and then vote-a-rama sabotage Full Repeal.  Especially when Mike Lee has been fighting for the Forgotten Men and Women in America and when the GOP Leadership, that appears to be McCONnell-McLame-HatchetMan, have done nothing but slam and bully Conservatives in the House and Senate.

At least after today’s vote we see, on the record, the Progressives in the GOP who are  firmly set on enslaving the middle class with Obamacare Hell. (Spit!)

Make no mistake, McLame. YOU are the establishment and YOU ARE the ruling class. (Great show, Chris Salcedo and Monica Crowley.)

On the other hand, the true BIPARTISANS (oh I am sick of that word but yet they are),  have stayed the course to work out some sort of reasonable agreement that will free everyone from the overarching reach of government. Men like Mike Lee, Jerry Moran, and Ted Cruz. They have framed the debate. They have, for months, gone forward in discussions to reasonably state their case while being stabbed in the back, slapped in the face, and openly rebuked without just cause

I said it the other day and I repeat it, this time to John McCain: The more you and your Progressive Republicans pushback against Mike Lee, Jerry Moran, and Ted Cruz for their ability and willingness to stand for the Forgotten Men and Women in America, the more I believe in them. Therefore to you and Mitch McConnell and Orrin Hatch and one else in your pockets: Get Out of the Way. I will not be forgotten. My Sentinel2Sentinel friends and family will not be forgotten

And you can bet your sweet bippy that we will not forget how you play your political game, hoarding up power, as you suppose, and filling up your coffers with money made from the blood, sweat, and tears at the expense of the American taxpayers and the poor.

Mike Lee is right. Humility is lacking in BCRA. It also appears to be sorely lacking in the Progressive Republican Leadership wonks for they make sure everything is really good for the rich and the well-connected and a handful of big wealthy corporations and power brokers. They do not care, if they notice at all, how everyone else tends to suffer. (Mike Lee on Glenn Beck

Tomorrow is another day. We, Sentinel2Sentinel, will never be out of this fight for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

We will rise up.

We will prevail.

We are Maverick….and ReasonabLee so.

(Basta! Spit!)

Part 3: My takeaway from Mike Lee

The more Progressive Republicans pushback against Mike Lee for his ability and willingness to stand for the Forgotten Men and Women in America, the more I believe in him. Therefore, to Senator Orrin Hatch: Get Out of the Way. I will not be forgotten and that is why I stand with Mike Lee. By the way Orrin, I hit back too, you Republican Progressive. (Spit)

To help Senator Hatch see how shortsighted he is when it comes to seeing things as they really are just go to the Original Source, Mike Lee:

And now, for Senator Hatch’s benefit, let us lead off with a fantastic question from the Glenn Beck interview:

Why have Senate Republicans not yet voted on that which they promised for seven years they would enact if given the opportunity? Why have they not yet voted even on the 2015 version of the repeal bill.

You cannot accuse someone who wants us to do simply that which we promised, of wrecking the effort to do that which we promised, when that person — me — is simply advocating for us to do what we said we would do. That’s all we’re asking here. It’s not too much to ask, nor is it something that the American people should be asked to back away from.

  • We’ve been asked to settle over and over and over again as Americans.
  • ...it’s not time to settle.
  • ...time to expect more.
  • …time for us to keep our word.

Are you listening, Orrin? Remember when you first ran for the senate, in Utah? I do. What have you become?

Mike Lee continues to frame the debate stating:

  • Help is coming, I hope…..when we can pass something that will get rid of the federal government’s oppressive reach.
  • [to] solve all of our problems through the federal government….when we try to pretend that we can do that, we end up making things worse.
  • It ends up being really good for the rich and the well-connected…handful of big wealthy corporations and power brokers ….and a few other major cities will do really well…But everyone else tends to suffer.

Are you listening, Orrin? The fact is that Mike Lee is not fighting for dominance. Mike Lee is a far more tempered individual than you are, in my ever to be humble opinion.

  • the best relief we can provide… is to get Washington out of your way so that you can do what you do best and so that people will compete to provide health care services to you.

So there it is. Free Market Healthcare. Mike Lee gets it. He is not confused. He fully understands that Americans, the ones who put the GOP in office, want to be free to choose. And then BOOM! Mike Lee seals his argument again (my emphasis added):

“The problem with this is that the one thing that always has united us has been repeal. And that’s what we should have done at the outset.

There never has been widespread agreement among Republicans on what should come next. So we should start with what unites us.

Repeal has united us for several years.

Repeal needs to be the message right now. And repeal is the one thing we can achieve.”

There you have it Senator Hatch. Basta and back off dude. You can tell all of your little anonymous Republican Progressives the same thing, especially those who will not stand behind full repeal.
