The Rule: You cannot save every Starfish

Funny how the rules apply except for the times when they do not apply, especially if the rule that was bent for one person is not able to be bent for someone else let alone many others.

The exception to the rule is the exception. If it becomes normal to make the exception to the rule, it is no longer the exception. It is now the rule.
