Today, in Sacrament Meeting, we had two great speakers and a fantastic musical number by our Primary Children.
Malcolm Sullivan based his remarks upon a Conference talk by Thomas S. Monson: “Behold Thy Mother”.
Jack Demaree based his remarks upon a Conference talk by Russell M. Nelson: Our Sacred Duty to Honor Women.
The first number the the Primary Children presented was Mother, I Love You followed by Love at Home with Kemper Whitney, the 7 year old soloist, singing the second verse. The congregation joined with the children to sing the third verse and the chapel was filled with a spirit of peace and great joy.
What beautiful music and wonderful sermons of love about honoring God, The Father and His Son, Jesus Christ when we honor our mothers and the women in our life.
At the end of the meeting, all sisters 18 years and older were given a copy of The Influence of Righteous Women by Dieter F. Uchtdorf.
